Overwhelmed When Waking Up

Do you get overwhelmed when you wake up, and realize you’ve got a super-busy day ahead of you?
Instead of freaking out, try this:
While you’re brushing your teeth, stand on one leg……And think about what you need to tackle. Studies show that balancing on one leg increases blood flow to the area of the brain that controls planning……And you’ll find yourself better able to focus on one item at a time, and map out your crazy day’s schedule.

Breathe.

If you feel overwhelmed, breathe. It will calm you and release the tensions.

If you are worried about something coming up, or caught up in something that already happened, breathe. It will bring you back to the present.

If you are moving too fast, breathe. It will remind you to slow down, and enjoy life more.

Breathe, and enjoy each moment of this life. They’re too fleeting and few to waste.

Happy New Years to you and Just Breathe!!
