If you need to power through your to-do list today, try this: Take 5 minutes to stare at something green – whether you find a tree outside your window, stare at the plant on your desk, or a picture of lush, green scenery.
Researchers found that taking a “green break” can make you feel more energized within 5 minutes……That’s because the color green stimulates the retinas in your eyes, which prompts your brain to increase the output of energizing chemicals, like dopamine and norepinephrine.
