Found this one laying in my wife’s office this morning…
“We are not bound to say all that we think or believe. But we are bound not even to look like what we do not think or believe.” George MacDonald
… in today’s world of distortion and distraction… it’s not enough just to seek to be understood. We must do our very best to be so clear that we are not mis-understood.
Reminds me of what my former boss and dear friend Art Coombs would repeatedly remind us when he said… “You cannot not communicate.” Everything you do, everything you say, what you wear, what you read or watch, even the appearance of your car or cubicle is communicating a message about who and how you are and what you value.”
We must ask ourselves “Am I communicating the message of commitment, refinement, preparedness, engagement, and readiness for future opportunities clearly?”
