The Hero of the Day (post from John Tesh)

Hero of the Day: Malyk Bonnet!
This teen from Montreal went above and beyond to save a kidnapped woman!
Malyk was making his way home after finishing his shift at a local restaurant. At the bus stop, he noticed a couple fighting. They approached him and asked for bus fare.
Malyk says he got a funny feeling, but he agreed to help them out.
Not wanting to leave the young woman alone, Malyk changed his destination to travel the same route as the couple.
He wanted to keep an eye on them so the woman wouldn’t get hurt, so after their bus ride, Malyk invited the couple to grab something to eat with him.
He then made an excuse about using the restroom so he could get away and call the police.
Little did Malyk know the police had been desperately searching for the couple after the woman’s family reported her missing earlier that day.
Across Canada, Malyk is being praised for the extraordinary measures he took to protect the woman.
Malyk says: “I don’t think of myself as a hero, I’m just a normal guy. I guess I saved a life, though, and that’s really awesome.”
