Initiative is Picking Yourself (post by Kirk Weisler)

From the pages of Seth Godin’s book “V” is for Vulnerability is the following bit of advice.

When we choose to take the initiative… we choose to take the lead.  Whether anyone follows us or not.

And Seth argues that the moment we choose ourselves, is the moment we move from being mere shadows and copies of others and become workers and works of art.

So don’t wait to be picked.  Pick Yourself and paint a more beautiful life!
