Train Blog 1-14-2013

Waiting for the train I hear someone singing.  I look up and see this older man maybe I his mid 80’s, no teeth rocking a walkman.  He is singing some Elvis Presley songs and not that bad either. He had me humming along with him and tapping my foot. One of them was “Hound Dog” and I don’t remember the title of the other one but it was one of the popular ones. He had me smiling because he was happy and singing without a worry in the world. I’ve seen him before and he is always the same.  Not sure if he is homeless but maybe lives in a group home.  I think he may have been a singer back in his day. Hmmmmm. Anyway, he made my day.  I need to buy some battery and keep them with me and the next time I see him I can give them to him.  You can never have enough batteries.
