Today’s train ride home was a little loud. Behind me was a child around 2 years old being a big crybaby whiner. The sound of was familiar because I had seen and hear this child before. He didn’t know what he wanted to do but I know I wanted him silent. I was trying to mediate for my arrival through my front door of my home where my kids will ask me, (let’s say it together) “what’s for dinner?” Anyway, this toddler was crying a whiny cry and kept sliding down his mama’s lap. In front of me was a young kid around 17 yrs old talking 100 miles per minute to his friend and listening to music on his phone as if it was a boom box. I don’t want to hear garbled music and that’s why we have headphones. Needless to say, my next train ride I have some snacks for a crying child and some dollar tree headphones for the wanna be boom box fool.
